Storm update - 8.30am, March 15
The Auckland Emergency Coordination Centre continues to monitor the impact of Cyclone Lusi on the region.
This morning localised power outages have occurred, particularly in North and South Auckland. We have had two reports of downed trees with no impact on property. No major incidents have been report as of 0815 hours.
Winds are expected to peak this afternoon with an increase in localised disruption expected.
