Truck v Pedestrian Crash

Police and Ambulance are attending a crash on the intersection of Atkinson Rd, Great South Rd and High St in Otahuhu.
The male victim was crossing the road when he was struck by an oncoming truck.
His legs appears to have sustained significant injuries and is being transported to Middlemore hospital.
This intersection is now closed off with detours and diversions in place.
Motorists are urged to stay away from this area in their travels if possible, delays are inevitable.
Police are investigating.
