Police investigate Rotorua robbery
Police are appealing for witnesses to an aggravated robbery which took place in broad daylight on a busy Rotorua street.
The robbery occurred at approximately 2.50pm when a man entered the Wild Things adult shop on Pukuatua Street, Rotorua with a weapon. He left with a yet to be determined sum of cash.
Police want to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area between 2.30pm and 3pm this afternoon. The offender is described as a male Maori, possibly in his 40s, stocky and wearing dark clothing including a hooded sweatshirt.
