Latest skate park design revealed
The latest plans for the new Pukekohe Skate Park will be revealed this Saturday at the Pukekohe Town Hall.
The new design is the work of Auckland Council and landscape architects, aided by former pro skater Chey Ataria. It has been based on public feedback previously collected by the Franklin Youth Advisory Board.
“The design has been adjusted to fit onto the proposed site at Stadium Drive,” says youth advisory board chair Olivia Leckner. “We look forward to hearing what everyone thinks about it on Saturday.”
The youth advisory board will be collecting feedback on the design, and encourages anyone who wants to have their say on the future park to turn up for a sausage sizzle and friendly game of skate.
The event will be held outside the Pukekohe Town Hall, at 11am on Saturday 1 March.
