Torbay: Gas Leak
Waitemata, 21 February 2014 - Emergency services and contractors have closed part of Deep Creek Road in Torbay as they isolate and repair a ruptured gas main.
No evacuations have been necessary, the road is closed however between Weatherly Rd and Alexander Ave.
Bus routes are affected and bus companies are being notified.
The closures are expected to remain in place for at least an hour which will affect the school run. The Alexander Ave entrance to Torbay school remains unaffected.
