Whangamata water shut taking a little longer
A Whangamata emergency water shut on The Drive is taking a little longer than expected due to the number of pipes
feeding water to an area that began leaking last night.
Our initial shut only affected The Drive, but now we are extending the area into Otahu Rd, Achilles Ave, McKellar Pl,
Hilton Dr and Park Ave.
As soon as we've cut the water to the leak on The Drive, the fix itself shold only take a few minutes.
