Assault In Christchurch
Police in Christchurch are seeking help from the public to identify two males who assaulted another male at a bus stop near the corner of Lyndon Street and Clarence Street about 6.30pm on Sunday 16 February.
The first male is described as Male Maori or Polynesian, short black hair, stocky build about 6 foot 1 tall, he has small tattoos on his arms and was wearing a black t shirt and black long trousers. Aged early to mid 20's
The second is described as Male European, 6 foot tall, blond or brown hair of medium length, he was wearing a white short sleeved top. Aged early to mid 20's.
The victim has been taken to hospital with a broken arm and facial injuries.
Police are interested to hear from anyone who saw the assault or two males chasing another male on Clarence Street towards Westfield Mall.
We would also like to speak to a male in a white utility vehicle who spoke to the victim shortly after the assault as he may have seen the suspects.
