Three car Crash In Counties Manakau
NOTE; THIS WAS NOT A POLICE PURSUIT AS REPORTED BY OTHER AGENCIES.
Police are presently at the scene of a three vehicle crash on SH20 Counties Manukau by the Massey Road East Off Ramp, heading north. A vehicle has failed to stop and has crashed into the rear of two other vehicles.
One of the vehicles had five female children between the ages of 2 and 10 years in it, who received moderate injuries. The other vehicle Had three female children aged 2, 8 and 10 in it The 10 and 8 year old females from this vehicle have been transferred to Middlemore Hospital with extensive injuries.
The driver of the offending vehicle is being spoken to concerning the crash. It is highly believed by Officers at the scene, that alcohol has played a part in this crash. Police believe it is a miracle, given the age of the children and the circumstances around this matter, that no one was killed.
