Emergency Services are currently dealing a major fire in Titirangi Park in Kaiti Beach in Gisborne.
The Fire Service are dealing with the fire but Police are asking for anyone in the immediate vicinity to remain indoors due to the large amount of smoke coming from the fire.
The fire is now under control but houses in Oxford Street, Norwood Road and Turanga Street were evacuated as a precaution
Details of the fire should be directed to the Fire Service.
