Hit and Run Crash Closes Northwestern Motorway - Waitakere
The City bound lanes of the North Western Motorway are currently closed between Lincoln Road and Te Atatu following a
hit and run crash.
At about 4 am a Silver Subaru car spun out in the City bound lanes and collided with another car.
Following the crash the Subaru left the scene travelling in the wrong direction on the motorway and was last seen by
CCTV cameras leaving the motorway at Lincoln Road.
The driver of the other car involved in the collision, a pregnant woman, has been taken to hospital with serious
injuries.
The Serious Crash unit and Waitemata CIB are investigating the crash.
