Serious Assault in Auckland City
At about 3.30am today a fight occurred on Customs Street in Auckland City between two groups of males.
During the fight a 23yr old man was knocked to the ground and kicked about the head rendering him unconscious.
The man was admitted to Auckland hospital with a serious concussion injury.
Police are following strong leads of enquiry into the incident but are seeking any witnesses to events.
Witnesses are asked to contact the Auckland City Area Criminal Investigation Branch on 09 302 6516.
