Whetu Hansen homicide inquiry - Have you seen Henry?

Officers working on the Whetu Hansen homicide inquiry are eager to locate Mr Hansen's dog Henry who is believed to have
been with him at the time of his disappearance.
"From our ongoing inquiries we have established that Henry was with Mr Hansen at the time of his disappearance," says
Detective Senior Sergeant Simon Harrison, officer in charge of the homicide inquiry.
Mr Hansen normally took Henry with him when he went out and he mostly tethered the dog in the back of the primer
coloured Ford ute that he drove.
"From our inquires no one has seen Henry since Mr Hansen has disappeared and the dog's whereabouts may play an important
role in shedding more light on Mr Hansen's location."
Henry is described as a mixed breed dog, of medium build and height, and his fur is reddish brown.
"If anyone has seen Henry or may have any information regarding his whereabouts we ask that they contact Police."
The search at the Linton property was completed on Friday 20 December, 2013 and there is no longer a police presence at
the property.
12 officers made up of staff from Manawatu, Whanganui, and Taranaki are currently working on the inquiry.
"I want to take this opportunity to also renew our requests for sightings of both vehicles of interest to this inquiry;
the primer coloured Ford ute that Mr Hansen drove and also the 1981 mint green Mitsubishi wooden flat deck ute."
"I encourage anyone that has any information about these vehicles or saw them between the 23rd of November 2013 to the
5th of December 2013 to contact Police.
"We are focused on returning Mr Hansen to his family and we remain in regular contact with them and continue to support
them during this difficult and emotionally draining time," says Detective Senior Sergeant Harrison.
