SH27 near the Mangawhero bridge

A crash between two trucks on SH27 near the Mangawhero bridge has resulted in the driver of one truck being trapped in
his vehicle. Emergency services are present and working to remove the trapped person who is seriously injured. Westpac
rescue helicopter is on the way to the scene. Road diversions will be in place shortly. One truck is carrying gas.
Police are asking the public to please avoid the area.
