New Communications Manager for Destination Queenstown

Queenstown, New Zealand (11 December 2013) – Destination Queenstown (DQ) is pleased to announce the appointment of Sarah Stacey to the position of Communications
Manager effective from January 2014.
With a Bachelor of Communication Studies majoring in Public Relations from AUT, Sarah brings with her a wealth of
communications experience in the tourism industry. During the last 11 years she has held senior marketing and
communications management roles with Good Group Ltd, Millbrook Resort and Skycity Queenstown building great local
Queenstown knowledge and networks.
In her new role Sarah will lead all organisational communications and the development of key Queenstown destination
messages. Her management experience will be valuable in leading DQ’s annual planning and reporting processes as well as
having overall responsibility for member and industry communications.
She will be working alongside Media Manager Gizelle Regan and Communications and Media Executive Libby Baron supporting
the positioning of Queenstown as the Southern Hemisphere’s premier four season lake and alpine resort.
Destination Queenstown CEO Graham Budd is delighted to welcome Sarah to the team.

Sarah will officially commence her role on 20 January 2014.
