Police are no longer searching for 33 year-old Phillip Layton Edwards or his associate, 25 year-old Maryanne Nahi as both were located and arrested at about 3am today.
Both will appear in the Auckland District Court today. Edwards will be charged with two counts of male assaults female, one of kidnapping and one count of unlawfully taking a vehicle. Nahi will be charged with being an accessory after the fact.
Edwards has been sought by Police since August 11 when a two year-old boy was allegedly kidnapped in Panmure.
He and Nahi were found at a Miranda St, Blockhouse Bay address by officers who noticed that the stolen vehicle he had been associated with over the past week was parked at the address.
