Award winning businessman puts his hand up for Papakura Local Board
Local award winning business owner Simon Goodall of Dog Guru has put his nomination forward for the local body elections for the Papakura board as local board member. Simon is CEO of Dog Guru Ltd which is a large dog training company throughout New Zealand and Australia and was the winner last year in the Auckland South Business Awards for leadership and were finalists for Strategy and Planning and his business is also this year finalists for the Employer of Choice.
Simon is standing with Papakura first with 5 other people in the party and is looking forward to the campaign. Simon says “Papakura is an awesome place to live. Everyone says how Papakura is in the deep south of Auckland and I would like to work closer with the community to increase employment opportunities in this area. We have been in Papakura for about 7 years and love everything it has to offer.
Simon is also a volunteer one day a week at Christian Care Budget Service in Papakura where he dedicates his time to helping people out with budgeting.
