5 km of Flooding Between Blenheim and Seddon
Blenheim Police advise State Highway 1 between Blenheim and Seddon has flooding and slips along a 5 km length of highway.
The worst areas are Weld and Dashwood Passes and the road is down to one lane in places.
Truck drivers have advised Police that trucks are only just getting through and cars will be unlikely to do so.
NZTA is aware and have crews in the area but it is unknown when the flooding and slips will be cleared.
