Title: Clan Lab Confirmed At Explosion Site
It has been confirmed that a clan lab was present at the scene of an explosion this morning in Mount Maunganui.
A Clan Lab team from Auckland are now at the Ocean Beach Road address where they confirmed the suspicions and will
continue throughout today examining at the scene.
It is anticipated that Police will be able to re-open the road shortly and allow residents back to their homes.
In the meantime one man remains in hospital and a second man located at a nearby address who was helping police with
their enquiries has been released. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
