Lock the Gates Comes to Napier
Napier Lock the Gates Meetings this week! - Sherenden & Bayview
Don't Frack the Bay has organised two public meetings to talk to land owners in the Maurauder permit area.
These will take place at Sherenden Hall, Napier- Taihape Road, Sherenden - on Tuesday 26 March 2013 at 6:30PM - with guest Speakers Jim Kerr & Donald James (farmers from Dannevirke)
And also King George Hall, Bay View - Thursday 28 March at 7:00PM - Guest Speaker Sahayne Ferguson, Dannevirke,re recent experience with Tag Oil and Apache.
Anyone who is living in the permit areas or interested in what is happening on their backyard is welcome to attend
The meeting will be covering what the process is for oil & gas exploration (tendering for permits, semisic serveys, test wells, full scale production etc) and what rights landowners have when dealing with oil companies.
The guest speakers will be talking about their experiences in dealing with TAG & Apache down in Dannevirke.
