Christchurch police have released an image of a man suspected to be involved in an attack on a 19-year old female at Jellie Park, Burnside, on Sunday [24 February].
The composite image has been based on information provided by the victim, who was further interviewed by Police yesterday.
The alleged offender is described as being a male, possibly European, with dark facial hair. He was reported to be wearing dark clothing at the time of the incident.
Police are still appealing for information from the public, particularly any witnesses to the attack, or anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the vicinity of Jellie Park between around 1.30am and 2.00am on Sunday.
Investigators say enquiries with medical facilities have so far not provided any leads on the suspect, who is believed to have been bitten by the victim's dog during the attack.
