North Shore Police are investigating an incident that occurred at a residential property in Seaview Road, GLENFIELD at approximately 11pm on Monday the 18th of February 2013.
At least two people arrived at the address unannounced and an altercation occurred with the occupants, during which time a firearm was discharged inside the dwelling. The offenders then left in at least two vehicles, one of which may have been a stationwagon.
Detective Sergeant Scott ARMSTRONG from the North Shore CIB says that the occupants were uninjured but extremely shaken.
He says that the investigation is in its early stages and Police will be at the address most of today conducting a forensic examination with the assistance of scientists from the ESR.
Police are seeking information from members of the public who may have been in the Seaview Rd area of Glenfield who may have seen the incident or the vehicles leaving the area. They encourage anyone with any information to contact them on 4775000 or anonymously on Crime Stoppers 0800 555 111.
