FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
BudFlorists plant seeds of goodness with Wellington commuters.
Wellington, New Zealand – February 8th, 2013 – Commuters on the Tranz Metro Hutt Valley line were in for a surprise this morning when BudFlorists of Silverstream gave away free flowers to brighten up their Friday and to encourage Wellingtonians to share the love. The team of 5 ‘flower bombers’ gave away flowers on various Hutt Valley line platforms.
“We want to encourage all Wellingtonians to take a moment to appreciate the un-sung heros in their lives as well as their friends and family. Perhaps their local barista greats them with a smile every morning, maybe a team member has stayed late to assist with printing an urgent document - there are so many people who we appreciate, but never quite get around to letting them know. Our hope is that commuters will enjoy the flower themselves or pass on the flower to these people and let them know they are loved.”
“Wellingtonians choose to live in Wellington because it is like nowhere else in the world and I believe the people play a huge part of the fabric that make the “Coolest Little Capital” so unique,” owner Jane Evans says.
Everyone is invited to ‘like’ the BudFlorists Facebook page to go in to the draw to win 12 red roses. The offer ends the 20th February.
