Dunedin (Tuesday, 5 February 2013) – From 4pm on Friday 15 February, the Dunedin City Library car park will once again be a treasure trove of books, CDs, DVDs and magazines, all for sale at ‘barking mad’ prices.
The Library’s annual Barking Mad Book Sale is its biggest event of the year, transforming the concrete cavern into a paradise for eager bargain hunters and book lovers. The sale helps to create room for the latest books, music and movies on the Libraries’ shelves.
The sale runs until 3pm on Sunday 17 February and is popular with people from all walks of life, including families, students and book collectors. The prices will be:
Adult books $1
Children’s books 50c
Magazines 20c
Speciality books, CDs, DVDs As priced
So, grab your reusable bags and bring your friends and family for a hunt at the Barking Mad Book Sale. You will walk out with bags full of entertainment for little more than loose change.
