Featherston homicide inquiry: Statement from the Jones family
Three days ago a piece of this family was taken from us and we have been left devastated.
Glen loved his family and friends and will be especially missed by his nieces and nephews.
He was part of the fabric of the Featherston community and lots of people looked out for him.
We know that many people around town had a soft spot for 'Jonsey' and will sympathise with our grief.
The support we have received over the last few days has been overwhelming and we sincerely want to thank you all for that.
We are hugely grateful to the large numbers of people who have been in contact with the Police and provided information.
We appreciate that the media has supported the appeals for information and respected our privacy.
As a family, we ask that they continue to respect our privacy so we can heal without undue attention.
