Otago river and lake level alert
River and lake levels will continue to remain high in Wakatipu, Wanaka, and Hawea lake catchments for several days.
Otago Regional Council flood managers are continuing to closely monitor Otago river and lake levels, with further rainfall expected in the western ranges for Wednesday.
Lake Wakatipu is currently at 311.14m, and Lake Wanaka is at 279.26m.
Flows in the Lower Clutha/Matau-Au at Balclutha remain high, and are expected to peak at around 1450 cubic metres per second tomorrow morning.
