Jellie Park Skate Jam
Noon – 3pm
Jellie Park, Greers Road
The Cheapskates Skate Skool runs a series of free community skate jams around Canterbury. These events are aimed at engaging youth into skating with free gear hire and coaching from experienced skaters. All events include a best trick competition where participants can show off their best moves for a chance to win prizes.

Summer Pool Party: Kool Kids’ Market Day
Noon – 3pm
Halswell Aquatic Centre
Come and join us for some fun in the sun at our next Summer Pool Party. More FM will be there with games, competitions and great prizes and of course, lots of Streets Ice Creams!
Ingham Lazy Sundays: Locean
Archery Lawn, Botanic Gardens
3pm–4.30pm

Formed in 2006, this eclectic funk/soul band is armed with an arsenal of licks and grooves. Hailing from Christchurch, Locean indulge in the delicate and heavy, the sweet and the bitter. Playing support for seminal NZ artists, Locean are a band of formidable potency.
Harlequin Players: The Adventures of Robin Hood

Gate sales $7, children 2 years and under free
Come one, come all to this light-hearted musical adventure for the whole family written by Roger Hall, one of New Zealand’s most popular playwrights. Lively Celtic dancing, music, sword and stave fighting are included in the funny and boisterous antics of Robin Hood and his outlaws.
