Big Book Sale At The Hastings Library
Friends of the Hastings District Libraries are holding a big, two day book sale at the Hastings Library on Tuesday 22 January from 9am to 8pm & Wednesday 23 January from 9am to 5pm.
”It’ll be a big one!” says Paula Murdoch, District Libraries Manager.
“The Friends have recently-withdrawn titles that the collection services team has selected, making room for new acquisitions and keeping the collections looking fresh, up to date and relevant.”
“Our Friends will use the proceeds from the book sale to purchase items for public use at the district libraries.”
Previous purchases resulting from the Friends fundraising activities include couches, mats and furniture for the children’s and young adults’ areas, and community display boards.
The book sale is one of the many ways the Friends of the Library support your libraries. For more information on Friends of the Libraries go to the library website www.hastingslibrary.co.nz
Bring your own carry bag and pick up some great bargains on January 22nd and 23rd.
