Missing Fisherman Found Dead

Title: Missing Fisherman Found Dead
At approximately 8.30 this evening (Monday, 7 January) relatives of a fisherman who was swept down the Motu River this afternoon discovered his body. He had come ashore approximately 150m from the point of the river where he had gone missing.
The man who lived locally was aged 41 and not 25 as previously reported.
He will not be named until police have confirmed that all next of kin have been notified.
