Fatal Crash Update: Te Anau-Milford Sound Highway, Fiordland

Further to the fatal crash near Knobs Flat, on the Te Anau-Milford Sound Highway, Fiordland.
The name of the deceased from the crash was Irit WILDER a tourist from Israel.
The Serious Crash Analyst commenced his investigation at the scene yesterday (Sunday) which was also attended to by the Police Photographer.
The vehicle was transported and is currently being stored at Invercargill and will be inspected.
The cause of the crash is yet to be determined. It is too early in the investigation to advise whether charges will be laid.
The other surviving two occupants of the vehicle were admitted to Invercargill Hospital where they are being treated for moderate injuries. Both are in a satisfactory condition.
Police are appealing to any members of the public who came across the crashed vehicle and offered assistance.
