Op Terri driver identified
Police appeals to locate the taxi driver who drove 27 year-old Nathan Albert from the city to Panmure in the early hours of New Year's Day shortly before he was fatally attacked, have been successful.
The driver contacted Police last evening after viewing a media report and he has provided details which will assist the homicide investigation.
The Operation Terri inquiry team would still like to hear from anyone who was in the Panmure or Mt Wellington area and who may have seen a man wearing a light-coloured top and dark shorts, running from the Panmure area towards Sylvia Park around 4:15 -05:30 am on 1 January.
Members of the Public are encouraged to contact the Operation TERRI inquiry team on 0800 4 TERRI [0800 483 774] or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
