27 Year Old Dead In Panmure, Homicide Investigation Launched

Auckland City Police have launched a homicide investigation after a 27 year-old man died in Panmure's Pilkington Rd shortly after 4am.
The area has been cordoned off and area inquries and a scene examination are being carried out. Police are looking for anything that may have been discarded which could have been used as a weapon.
Detective Inspector Mark Benefield says it's believed the deceased had recently lived in Papatoetoe but are firming up on his details.
DI Benefield will be at the scene and available to media for interview at 1.00p.m. today.
