Road closed between Nelson and Richmond due to Chemical leak
Cordons are in place at Saxton Rd, Nayland Rd, Whakatu Drive and the Richmond Deviation due to a chemical leak at Wakatu
Estate.
There is currently no vehicle access between Nelson and Richmond.
The Railway Reserve is also cordoned off.
Police and fire are in attendance and hope to have the routes reinstated as soon as possible. Police ask people to avoid
the area until further notice.
