Shooting Blenheim

This morning at approximately 5am Ambulance Officers were called to a rural property in Blenheim by a 30 year old male stating he had been shot in the leg.
Police attended the incident and located the male who was conscious and in a lot of pain.
He was transported by ambulance to Wairau hospital where he will require surgery.
Police are currently speaking with witnesses to establish what has occurred at the address.
The owners of the address were not home when this occurred, they had arranged house sitters while away on holiday. They have been notified of the shooting and are returning home from their holiday.
