Armed Robbery Treehouse bar - New Plymouth

At approximately 1.15am this morning there was an armed robbery involving a firearm at the Treehouse, a licensed bar in Devon Street West New Plymouth.
The bar shut at midnight and staff began to clean and close up. As staff were about to leave two offenders, wearing dark clothes and helmets entered the bar.
Staff were forced to hand over a sum of cash and the offenders decamped on a motorbike, travelling west on Devon Street West heading towards the Blagdon Shops.
Fortunately there has been no physical injury suffered by staff but they have been severely traumatised by the incident.
Police are requesting help from the Community to solve this nasty crime and are interested to hear from anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity around the time and location, or if they have any information to assist the Police with this incident.
