OVERNIGHT MOTORWAY CLOSURES
22 December 2012 – 12 January 2013
The NZ Transport Agency advises of the following closures for motorway improvements. Closures start at 9pm and finish at
5am, unless otherwise stated. Work delayed by bad weather will be completed at the next available date, prior to Friday,
11 January.
NORTHERN MOTORWAY (SH1)
• Curran Street northbound on ramp 25 December 10:00p.m. continuous till 7 January 5:00a.m.
• Stafford Road northbound off ramp 25 December 10:00p.m. continuous till 7 January 5:00a.m.
• Northbound lanes between Greville Road off ramp and Oteha Valley Road on ramp 8 January
• Greville Road northbound on ramp 8 January (approx 8:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
CENTRAL MOTORWAY JUNCTION (SH1 & SH16)
• Fanshawe Street southbound off ramp 26 December
• (SH1) Wellington Street northbound on ramp 9 January (approx 9:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
• (SH16) Grafton Road southbound on ramp 9 - 10 January (approx 10:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
• (SH1) Symonds Street southbound on ramp 9 - 10 January (approx 10:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
• SH16 Port westbound to SH1 southbound link 9 - 10 January (approx 10:00p.m. to 5:00a.m.)
SOUTHERN MOTORWAY (SH1)
• Market Road northbound off ramp 10 January
• Papakura northbound on ramp (loop) 8 - 10 January
• Northbound lanes between Papakura off ramp and Papakura on ramp 8 - 10 January
• Southbound lanes between Takanini off ramp and SH22/Drury on ramp 10 January
• Takanini southbound on ramp 10 January
• Papakura southbound on ramp 10 January
NORTHWESTERN MOTORWAY (SH16)
• Eastbound lanes between Brigham Creek Road roundabout and Te Atatu Road on ramp 7 January
• Hobsonville Road eastbound on ramp 7 January
• Lincoln Road eastbound on ramp 7 January
• Royal Road eastbound on ramp 7 January
• Eastbound lanes between Brigham Creek Road roundabout and Royal Road on ramp 10 January
• Hobsonville Road eastbound on ramp 10 January
UPPER HARBOUR HIGHWAY (SH18)
• Eastbound lanes between SH18 westbound to SH16 eastbound link and Te Atatu Road on ramp 7 January
• Eastbound lanes between SH18 westbound to SH16 eastbound link and Royal Road on ramp 10 January
