Enquiry focuses on deceased's movements
Christchurch Police investigating the death of Shane Bell are continuing to focus on his movements and contacts in the
days prior to his death.
Detective Senior Sergeant Brian Archer says investigators have today been reviewing Mr Bell's movements, cellphone
records and contacts with other people.
"We are still piecing together what has taken place in the lead up to Mr Bell's death, and we continue to appeal for any
information about his movements," he says.
"We particularly want to speak with anybody who has had any interaction or contact with Mr Bell, especially on Thursday
between about 8am and 2pm," he says.
The last reported sighting of Mr Bell was at his home in the Christchurch suburb of Dallington last Thursday morning [29
November].
Police are also continuing to appeal for any sightings of the silver Subaru station wagon in which Mr Bell was found,
prior to Thursday evening.
Detective Senior Sergeant Archer says nothing has changed in terms of the status of the investigation.
"This remains a suspicious death investigation - as it has been from the outset. We continue to have an open mind as to
what has happened."
The scene examination at the Loburn site was completed yesterday, and the vehicle removed from the site.
