The calibre of this year’s applicants represented the strength of the city’s vibrant arts sector. Successful applicants for the inaugural round of funding came from a wide range of performing arts including dance, theatre, music and kapahaka. Each of these groups uniquely contribute to the artistic development in our city.”
The Performing Arts Contestable Fund is funded and administered by Hamilton City Council. A total of 22 applications were received of which 11 were successful allocating a total amount of $100,000.00.
