Dunedin Community funding allocated

Community funding allocated – more than 100 groups to benefit
Dunedin (Tuesday 27 November) - The Dunedin City Council’s September 2012 funding round has been completed and the Community Assistance Sub-Committee, comprising of Councillors and community representatives, has allocated funds of $171,230.75 to 106 groups and organisations, from community, recreation, youth, arts, cultural, heritage and events sectors.
This brings the total number of groups, clubs and organisations to have benefitted from the funding allocations to 198 – and a combined total of $369,611.00 allocated for 2012.
The next Funding Round closes at 5.00 pm on the last working Friday of March – Friday 22 March 2013. Application forms are available from the Dunedin City Council’s Customer Services Offices early late January 2013 or on the Dunedin City Council website http://www.dunedin.govt.nz, phone 477 4000.
