Rose Festival
Wellington’s Rose Festival begins this Friday 23 November and continues until Monday 26 November. The festival takes place at the Botanic Garden, home to the city’s largest rose garden.
This year’s festival includes guided rose-themed walks, storytelling sessions with Fairy Trina, and sessions on roses for gardeners with the Lady Norwood Rose Garden curator. Visitors to the gardens will also have the opportunity to vote for their favourite rose on display at the garden and go into the draw to win a handbook on rose cultivation and a Picnic cafe voucher.
Full details of the Rose Festival programme are available here.
