Missing Person
Police are asking for assistance from the public in trying to locate Margaret Mae Newman.
Described as a 65yr old female caucasian approximately 5'3 tall of slight to medium build. She has straight black/grey
hair usually worn in a plait down the back. She was wearing a dark polar sweatshirt and dark blue track-pants when last
seen. She is believed to have been carrying two shopping bags containing other clothing.
Margaret has been reported missing by friends after walking out of her Birdwood Avenue, Waltham address last night at
about 7pm. She is believed to be in a confused state and is on medication.
Police are asking for any sightings or contact with Margaret to be reported to Christchurch Police on Ph. 3637400.
