Full description:
At approximately 1.20am on Wednesday 14th November 2012, a male pedestrian was hit by a vehicle in Great North Road, Waterview near Oakley Ave. The pedestrian has subsequently died of the injuries.
Police are looking for a silver coloured Subaru stationwagon with frontal panel damage and are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the crash or have any information about the incident to urgently contact the Police.
Great North Road between the motorway and Oakley Ave is presently closed and diversions are in place but Police hope to have the road re-opened before rush hour traffic is affected.
No further information will be released on the identity of the deceased or the circumstances of the crash until the next of kin have been advised.
