Major Diesel Spill - Central Wellington
Motorists are warned to avoid, if possible, the Kelburn Parade and Salamanca Road area of Kelburn this morning following
the spillage of diesel from a vehicle on the main route between Central Terrace, the University and The Terrace. City
Council contractors are on the scene, trying to remove the diesel from the roads, however the surface is dangerously
slippery and at least one car is reported to have slid from the road at one point.
