Charges laid after Wainuiomata assault
Hutt Valley Police have charged two males with common assault after a late night altercation in Wainuiomata over the weekend.
The 30-year-old and 28-year-old males will appear in Lower Hutt District Court today.
Both men came forward and contacted Police last night.
The 27-year-old male victim remains in a serious but stable condition in Wellington Hospital.
Police are continuing to appeal for anyone who may have wtinessed what has happened to come forward.
