MEDIA ALERT NOVEMBER 2012 Baby Show Boom
Celebrating a new name and look, The Baby Show is now basking in the glow of a terrific result from its inaugural event.
Dona White, CEO of North Port Events comments, “We are thrilled to report that our total attendance was 12,982 which is slightly up from 2011. However, the real sign of success is the overwhelming feedback from exhibitors and visitors alike with record numbers of exhibitors signing for the 2013 show – our litmus test of a good show!”
Jose Rivalland from iCandy comments, “The Baby Show offered us a successful foray into the New Zealand market and we certainly hope for continued growth for the brand”, while Totally Devoted staff commented, “it was a fantastic sampling opportunity for us and we were blown away by the feedback we received – and the sales!”
Dona White created the show when she was raising a young family, catering for caregivers of pre-school children, expectant parents, doting grandparents, aunts and uncles, or anyone involved in bringing up littlies.
“My children have become young adults, but I am still overwhelmed by the response we get for this show which offers everything for the baby and beyond – there’s always a great vibe when likeminded people come together under one roof and this year was no exception,” says White. www.babyshow.co.nz
