Armed Robbery Lynfield

Armed Robbery
Avondale Police are appealing for any witnesses that may have seen the aggravated robbery of an security van outside the Lynfield ASB on Friday 14th September 2012 at approximately 6.20pm
Security staff were robbed at gun point by two males as they walked back to their van from the ASB at Lynfield.
The offenders stole a container and fled from the scene in a Silver Nissan Reg EBH 925 that was recovered shortly afterwards in Orcades Place, Lynfield.
The offenders are described as males wearing overalls and masks.
They were armed with a shot gun and what is described as an assault rifle.
There was a third male driving the vehicle described as a male Maori or Polynesian early 20s of heavy build.
