Route changes to eastward bus services
With Tuam Street open to traffic again between Colombo and Madras Streets for the first time since the February earthquakes Metro services from the Central Station are able to take a much faster and more direct route east.
Slight route changes have been made to eastbound services and those that terminate at the polytechnic, avoiding the use Moorhouse Avenue. These changes come into effect from the first bus on Monday, 10 September 2012.
Notices are being placed today at the stops that will no longer be in use, informing passengers of the change. Further details of the route alterations can be found on the Metro website www.metroinfo.co.nz.
