Christchurch: Hitchhiker sought
Police want sightings of a female hitchhiker who was believed to have been at Blenheim Rd/Annex Rd intersection, Christchurch at about 4pm on Sunday 2nd September 2012.
She may also have been in the Springston area later in the day and is believed to have been heading to Akaroa.
She is described as a female Caucasian, aged about 25 years, shoulder length brown hair.
Clothing unknown apart from jeans and a beanie.
She was carrying an Orange/blue backpack.
Anyone who may have uplifted or seen the hitchhiker is asked to contact Detective Phil McDonnell at Christchurch Police.
