And The Winner Is…
All will be revealed when the TrustPower Taupō District Community Awards are announced and presented on Monday 3 September.
The Awards are being held at the Great Lake Centre, Taupō, with drinks and nibbles starting at 5.30 pm.
Seventy six groups and organisations were nominated for this year’s Awards.
As well as category winners, the Supreme Winner of the 2012 TrustPower Taupō District Community Awards will be announced. That organisation will take home $1,500, a trophy and an all-expenses paid trip to the TrustPower National Community Awards, being held in the Far North district in March 2013.
The TrustPower Youth Community Spirit Award will also be presented to one Year 13 student doing great things for their school and community.
The inaugural Classic Hits Volunteer of the Year Award will also be presented at the function.
All media are welcome to attend the Awards, with presentations running from approximately 6 pm – 7.30 pm.
