A five year-old child was run over and killed after getting off a school bus at Hector on the West Coast this afternoon.
The accident happened about 3.10pm after the boy got off the bus at the intersection of Curtis and Greenfield Streets. The bus then turned left into Greenfield Street.
A witness to the accident said the boy ran out in front of the bus as it turned the corner. The bus did not stop.
