Financial literacy at your library, your place
Ever wanted to know more about KiwiSaver but didn’t know who or what to ask?
Hastings District Libraries and IRD have teamed up to bring you a FREE seminar KiwiSaver - an introduction on Tuesday 28 August, 5.30pm.
District Libraries Manager, Paula Murdoch, says providing access to information on financial literacy is important to our community.
“Understanding KiwiSaver and how it works will help people prepare for their retirement years.” Paula says.
“There are so many different providers and fund options to consider. The information provided at this seminar is impartial and will help members of our community to make an informed decision for their individual circumstances.
The free seminar is part of Hastings District Libraries’ lifelong learning programme and is open to anyone with an interest in planning for their retirement – whether it’s five years or thirty-five years away.
You can “Get Sorted” at your library with booklets available on KiwiSaver, Retirement Planning, Budgeting, Managing Debt and more.
